FOR MAC USERS
http://quickpwn2-2-1.googlecode.com/files/QuickPwn_2.2.5.dmg
**Unzip the folder and open QuickPwn.exe"
If for some reason Quickpwn isn't opening up it's because you do not have .net framework installed. Click this link to install it. http://tinyurl.com/2etrzb
Step 2: Make sure your device is updated to
Firmware 2.2.1***
(If you need the firmware 2.2.1 download link check my blog)
Step 3: Make sure your device is connected to
your computer via USB then open up Quickpwn
Step 4: Press the blue arrow to go next
-Quickpwn should recognize your firmware
automatically if it is 2.2.1 and a green checkmark
will appear next to your device name.
Step 5: Press the blue arrow to go to the next
page. ** Decide what you would like to have.
Obviously you should add cydia. Installer is
optional and so is boot logos.

-Again, make sure you're connected via USB
Step 7: Press Next and get ready to Jailbreak!
Follow the directions on the screen
You should get a white screen if you did it
correctly. Then it will say "Downloading Jailbreak
data"
- Once you get the checkmark you just have to
wait for your phone to finish jailbreaking and
you're all done!

A good way to backup your cydia apps before you update and lose everything!
Step 2. Open up aptback up from your springboard and press "backup"
Step 3. Connect your device to your computer and go to iTunes and right click on your device name and click backup.

Step 4. Let iTunes back up your device after this you can go ahead and update. When you re-jailbreak your device after updating just download "aptbackup" again from cydia and press restore and you should get all your apps back from cydia(including themes, ringtones games)
NEW iPhone Coming?!? Clues in the new firmware!
MacRumors has discovered that Apple’s iPhone 2.x Firmware has evidence of the next generation iPhone which has been designated “iPhone2,1″.
Apple uses these models numbers to distinguish between different hardware models. The original iPhone carries the model number of “iPhone 1,1″ while the 3G iPhone is labeled “iPhone 1,2″. These numbers do not change for simple storage increases and instead represent functionally different devices. Similarly, the iPod Touch was originally introduced as the “iPod 1,1″ and the most recent hardware revision was labeled “iPod2,1″. The 2,1 iPod Touch added a speaker, volume controls, microphone support and a much faster processor than the 1st generation model. This new model number can be found in the USBDeviceConfiguration.plist in an unencrypted firmware.

For those of you who have accidently upgraded to 2.2.1 and want to go back down to 2.2
iPhone 2G
iPhone 3G
iPhone 3G Alternate link FW 2.1 -If firmware 2.2 isn't working for you on iPhone 3G you can try 2.1 and see if that works.
iPod Touch 1st Generation -(Unfortunately, I could not find Firmware 2.2 for iPod Touch 1st Gen) If you click on the link you can downgrade to 2.1 until there is a jailbreak for 2.2.1. Sorry for the inconvenience.
iPod Touch 2nd Generation
Step 1. Click on one of the above links to download firmware 2.2 for the corresponding device.
Step 3. Once that is downloaded go to iTunes and hook up your device.
Step 4. Click on your device on the side and it should have 2 buttons
One that says Check for Updates
and another that says Restore
on your keyboard hold down the "SHIFT" key and click on restore
Step 5: choose the file that you downloaded earlier from my blog and iTunes will do the rest
Hope that helped!

Firmware 2.2.1 Is out for iPhone and iPhone 3G
As you may know the update for iPhone and iPhone 3G is here. Firmware 2.2.1.
Unfortunately it does not have the features I mentioned in the video.
As I had said it was a rumor and what I saw in websites.
IMPORTANT
IF YOUR iPhone 3G is UNLOCKED DO NOT UPDATE AS IT IS ON A DIFFERENT BASEBAND. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO KEEP YOUR PHONE UNLOCKED IF YOU UPDATE. WAIT FOR A PROPER JAILBREAK AND AN UPDATE FOR YellowSn0W.
** I WILL HAVE THE JAILBREAK AS SOON AS ITS OUT**
